Claire is Dick’s elder daughter who up to now has been busy with her career as an airline pilot. Her job with Jet2 will give her enough time off to spend some of it in South Africa.

She is a seasoned tug pilot and glider pilot who has an extensive knowledge of gliding operations that she has learnt from growing up in a gliding family and as the tug pilot at London Gliding Club at Dunstable and with Brian Spreckley’s European Soaring Club.

Claire is still actively involved in gliding at the Navy Gliding Club at Lee-on-Solent.
